Rural Recovery- Development opportunities & career services

Do you identify as a person in recovery seeking employment or are you a business looking to hire dedicated employees?

A recovery workforce is composed of individuals who have been in recovery and seeking employment or are looking to improve their career.

The Rural Recovery Development Opportunities and Career Services (RR-DOCS) program at FOR-DO is ready to support your needs. Focused on creating recovery-friendly work environments and providing support to both individuals in recovery and their employers as well as additional targeted training, RR-DOCS fulfills the needs of both employees and employers.

RR-DOCS targets individuals currently or seeking to be engaged in Recovery Support Services for a pre-existing or current Substance Use Disorder (SUD), 18 years and older and below the age of 65.

Participants must be living in Chenango, Otsego, or Delaware Counties in New York.

If you are a person in recovery and are looking to participate in this program, or if you are a business looking to become a Recovery Friendly Workplace, contact Brendan Murphy at 607-267-4435 or brendan@friendsofrecoverydo.org
