A Recovery Coach Can Help
If you’re new in recovery, just coming home from treatment, or just need some extra support, a Recovery Coach can smooth your transition and support you as you face the challenges before you.
Your Recovery Coach helps you overcome any barriers or obstacles to your recovery by acting as your personal guide and mentor in the management of personal and family recovery. Your coach is you motivator and cheerleader; your ally and confident; your advocate and role model.
Your coach is your guide who
• Provides linkages to the recovery community, treatment and other supports;
• Knows the system of care and how to navigate the system;
• Helps with problem solving;
• Has established contacts and recovery partnerships in the community;
• Assists you in protecting your rights;
• Can act as your representative;
• And much, much more
All the decisions are yours to make. This is your recovery and who knows better than you what you need?
